Abstract

An attempt has been made to study various types of migration algorithms for subsurface imaging. The data was taken from the deep water areas of Western Offshore of India having moderately complicated subsurface geology. The sedimentary thickness varies from 2000 to 6000m. Different types of migration algorithms were used on this data and outputs were analyzed. The paper deals with the analysis of how the available imaging tool can be applied to today
