Abstract

Shallow structural features and basement topography has been evaluated from deep resistivity surveys in the Deccan trap cover areas of central India. Three deep depressions in the basement have been identified in Satpura region and two such cases have been indicated in the Ajanta plateau region. Correlation of these with gravity data suggests the presence of sediments under the trap cover.
