Abstract

On a day-to-day basis, data managers have to provide data sets of all types to the various user groups at a faster pace and at high quality standards than ever before. Hence the data management function must enable the E & P data cycle to become less costly and more efficient and profitable. Having instantaneous access to field data form anywhere is a boon as well as a bane.
