Abstract

Regional sequence stratigraphic studies were carried out on major structures viz. Rokhia, Agartala Dome, Tichna, Gojalia, Rajnagar and Sundulbari in western Tripura. Systematic analysis, regional correlation of sequence boundaries, demarcation of various Transgressive system tract and Highstand system tract facilitated in identifying a number of paleogeomorphic highs in the eastern part of Sundulbari and Tichna structures.
