Abstract

Kalol sands of Middle Eocene age in Sobhasan Complex hold potential for substantial contribution. But it has not been optimally exploited yet, due to the presence of major potential hydrocarbon layers of Mandhali and Sobhasan Pay Sands, which are the easy targets for exploitation and remained the focus of development activity since discovery.
