Abstract

As the demand for Natural Gas in India increases, explorationists will be required to put in place new concepts to establish fresh sources of supply, including unconventional gas. Basin Centered Gas Accumulation (BCGA) is one of the unconventional sources, which has vast potential in India, as there are conclusive evidences of this pervasive accummulation in Cambay basin, Krishna-Godavari basin and Cauvery basin, as deduced from the drilled well inforamtion.
