Abstract

Depth imaging, over rugged terrain always demands a good time section with clearly seen events right from shallow to deeper portion of it. Any ambiguity in time interpretation of the shallower events will lead to an improper accounting of the ray bending causing progressive distortion of the depth section. One of the possible reasons significantly deteriorating the shallower events was found to be statics.
