Abstract

Analysis of seism ic data from various parts of the world indicates that spectral decomposition provides meaningful results for stratigraphic /structure interpretation and contributes to enhance drillin g success rate. Considering the above fact an integrated approach was made to distinguish & delineate Stratigraphic Sub -Unconformity pay sand packages from the Cauvery Basin of India using spectral decomposition with the help of Kingdom Core Application Software from Seismic Micro Technology (SMT).
