Abstract

The objective of the modeling was to determine if water /oil bearing carbonate could be distinguished from gas filled carbonate rock and what critical oil/ water/ gas saturation was able to change the seismic response before making plan for 4D seismic. Pore space and thickness replacement modeling was carried out to understand the necessity of high resolution survey for better and refined reservoir modeling.
