Abstract


Charali is a satellite field in north Assam shelf of Assam & Assam Arakan basin of India and is producing significant amount of oil & gas. 46 wells are drilled till date out of which about 14 wells are producing oil and gas from Barail and Tipam sands. Significant part of hydrocarbon is being produced from Tipam formation in the southern part of the Charali Main Block.
