Abstract
The Sanand Field is located on the crest of Sanand Structure that trends roughly in NS direction and is known for accumulation of oil and gas in Kalol, Cambay Shale, and Olpad Formations. The field is present in the prolific Ahemdabad-Mehsana Tectonic Block. In the Sanand Area, deltaic sands in Kalol Formation of Eocene Age are main producer.
