Abstract

As oilfields enter mature stage, it encounters prominent issues such as difficulty in exploiting remaining hydrocarbon, increased waterbreakthrough and rapid decline in oil/gas production. How to maximize hydrocarbon recovery from reservoirs producing with high water-cut and improve oil rates is a challenge.
