Abstract

The paper documents the sedimentation pattern of syn-rift succession in a sequence stratigraphic framework along 4 east-west profiles in North Cambay Basin. In Cambay Basin, as most part of syn rift has not been drilled in the central part of graben, the entire syn-rift evolutionary history and sequence development is not well established. To address this issue 4 seismogeological sections have been prepared through integration of log data, seismic data, sedimentological and biostratigraphic information.
