Abstract
Cuddapah basin is a Proterozoic basin in crescent shaped, easterly concave and N-S trending that located in the eastern part of Dharwar craton. It covers an area of 44000 km2 and extends for a length of about 450 km along the arcuate Eastern Ghat Mobile Belt (EGMB).
