Abstract

KG basin, often poses challenges related to parameters like Temperature and Pressure in addition to its well-known geological complexities in terms of stratigraphy, subtlety of reservoirs and entrapment. These two parameters occasionally pose unforeseen problems in obtaining the maximum amount of information from the borehole and successful completion of an exploratory well.
