Seismic data from conventional streamer acquisitions always suffer from ghost interference, which restricts the frequency spectrum in both lower & higher end. This will impact the shallow as well as deeper imaging. Also, due to complex geology and variations in velocity, conventional seismic acquisition lacks low-frequency content, that hampers deeper seismic imaging. Broadband processing with de-ghosting technology effectively removes source and receiver ghosts, boosting low-frequency response and filling highfrequency notches, resulting in broader bandwidth seismic data which is very critical for interpretation. In this paper, we discuss a targeted, short offset high-resolution process by focusing specially on the shallow seismic to provide additional insights from this data. Broadband processing is followed by Pre Stack Depth Migration (PSDM) with a more accurate 3D velocity model providing a better image compared to conventional PSDM.
