Abstract

A recovery plan was carried out in the North Gandhar-Jambusar area of Cambay Basin. The recovery was designed to overcome impact of various obstacles present in and around study area. The recovery plan employed an inverted template (unit template rotated by 180°) as compared to initially planned template which facilitated extended coverage towards southwestern part. The presence of Vishwamitri River posed a major challenge which was further complicated due to presence of Salt Pan, Marshy land and Babool jungle. Infill receiver lines were also laid down in the adjoining swaths to attain improved foldage. Geophones were planted on the boundaries of salt pans which gave rise to extended coverage in the salt pan zone
