Technological progress in the oil and gas industry is an incremental process involving consistent investment and the application of scientific, engineering and managerial expertise over sustained periods of time. Efficient and reliable energy supplies are essential for accelerating the growth of Indian economy. In this context, Coal Bed Methane (CBM) can play a major role in reducing the share of import content and augment the overall energy supply in the country.
